Vivienne Westwood SS12 red label / I have a Confession

I had to share my fav pieces from Vivienne Westwood's SS12 collection more designers and posts to come so look out for that! I'm loving the colours this season!

I looove the necklace and the cool blue jumper/vest

Gorgeous, have you ever felt the leather on her bags! * gasp *

Future work outfit! * prays! *

This skirt is just...

My confession, my designer splurge

It was on sale guys I had to! A lot similar to the current season bag in the catwalk pic above but just a different colour! Well chuffed!

All Wrapped UP

Hi everyone just had a scarf haul to share with you guys and dolls, I'm currently feeling this natural hair vybe and I've said goodbye to all relaxers, and the brazilian/angolian/wateverILIAN hype! Don't get me wrong I will still rock a weave as a protective style because it does protect my hair and helps it grow. But I've always loved my fro and chemicals only touched it when I went to college which then made my hair go thin and it cut OBVIOUSLY! Sounds funny but when I broke it down... I see the hair dresser putting  plastic gloves on before applying the CHEMICAL to my hair/scalp, naaaah I'm not down any more and haven't been down for a while...

Soooo I'm always saying to myself I need more scarves for up doos whether I have braids or just my hair out

All the scarves are vintage!

Natural beauty

I was browsing one of my fav blogs bgwlh http://blackgirllonghair.com/ and saw soma beautiful pics of Solange rocking her fro but the outfits are what caught my eye because lately she has always been on point!

I felt like a few years back when she kind of tried to break off into her own it didn't really work because when your young you don't even know who you are! But now I feel she's really come into her own and her style is naturally blossoming which is great to see!

(TWA InStyle magazine)
I'm a big fan of jumpsuits and I love the colour and print it looks so young and fresh perfect for those summer days into the evenings! The necklace compliments the outfit so well there's no need for ear rings or anything else! NOTE: if you have a statement piece of jewellery play down every other accessory!

My fav outfit she looks GORGE! Very missoni with the dress/top and skirt but seeing as its Solange it probably is missoni! But I don't know the designer for sure just guessing... love the detailing with the shirt in side. Personally I dont think this outfit needs a necklace because there is soo much going on. Maybe some studs, but I'm thinking of ready to wear looks and not really photo shoot. Love the lace ups too because their white it makes the whole outfit POP.

I need to get more scarves, but I don't know how to wrap into a style like this though, I'm sure there's a youtube tutorial out there!

Effortless simple clean lines and a beautiful colour palette, following the pastels and fresh colours that seem to be taking over the spring summer looks. Love the print on the top and the zip all the way down the side of the trousers.

The finer details

I am guilty for putting all my energy into an outfit and then coming to my jewellery box in despair, or I can't find the right shoes or just any accessories in general... This is why I sometimes reverse the way I put together an outfit so if there are a pair of shoes I'm dying to wear I build the outfit on that rather than finding an excuse to do more shopping! Concentrating on the finer details of an outfit is what makes it classic but different and makes an outfit that took a lot of planning look effortless...

Aztec

Sooo I have a problem... I NEVER stick to one style, I dress like a tomboy one day and girly the next, I like classic styles and other times I love certain trends ... but hey that's just me my style just can't be contained so I might as well embrace it!

Recently I found the aztec like body warmer from my fav vintage shop beyond retro...and I thought hmm yeah this could work, I always like to plan what I would wear with certain things and if an outfit instantly pops into my head I'm sold...

I love patterns that are similar but different over each other... below image explains what I what I mean, two aztec like prints but totally different in the same outfit nice.

Could you survive with just american apparel?!

I always had an idea that if you bought every basic piece from american apparel you could create new outfits with the same clothes over and over again for like a year, I love their clothes because they are so versatile dressed up or down.

Now their prices are a bit much sometimes but I have to say they are worth it because all of their clothes can be worn so many ways.

My fav purchases...

caramel sleeveless collared button up

3-D mesh flower jumper (I have it in black)

green riding pants

tri-cranberry pocket jumpsuit

Looking at these outfits I think I would survive just having their clothes and nothing else...
